On April 15th, a new weekly newspaper makes its debut on the South Shore. Distributed on Thursday, Rive-Sud Express.ca is printed at 145 000 copies and joins the municipalities of Longueuil, Saint-Hubert, Greenfield Park, Saint-Lambert and Brossard.

Since December 2nd there is a new weekly paper in Mont-Laurier : Le Courant des Hautes-Laurentides. Represented by Réseau Sélect, this weekly paper distributes 18 500 copies every Wednesday. Covering MRC of Antoine-Labelle, 17 municipalities, this new weekly paper will offer local information a very large place in its editorial content. Local advertisers are showing increasing interest since the beginning.
